Crawford sisters medal to lead Strath Haven at Briarwood

Sisters Ava and Rowe Crawford finished fourth and sixth, respectively, to pace Strath Haven to a third-place finish in the girls race at the Briarwood Invitational.

Ava Crawford crossed the finish line in 19 minutes, 38 seconds. Rowe Crawford came in nine seconds later. Anna Hooper placed 25th to earn medal honors for the Panthers. Katie Till of Cardinal O’Hara (17th) and Katrina Miciek from Haverford (30th) also were among the medal winners from Delaware County.

On the boys side, Mike Donnelly and Josh Fingerhut of Haverford were eighth and ninth, respectively, to lead the Fords to third in team competition. Donnelly covered the 5,000-meter course in 16:50, while Fingerhut finished in 16:51. Ethan Fingerhut placed 26th for the Fords.

Archbishop Carroll’s Aidan Doherty was 20th and Radnor’s Frank Brown took 28th to earn medals.
