Inglis paces Marple Newtown

Fidel Inglis scored a pair of first-half goals to help Marple Newtown down Springfield, 4-2, in a Central League match late Tuesday.

Ciaran Carr and Tommy Wenger each netted a goal for the Tigers (3-1-1). Justin DiBona added two assists and Ryan Straub played well at goalie.

Radnor 1, Conestoga 1 >> Bobby Hydrisko scored off a rebound on a penalty kick to even the score in the second half for the Raiders. Cole Schwartz (six saves) was excellent in net.

Lower Merion 5, Strath Haven 1 >> Ethan Birch accounted for Haven’s only tally off an assist by Harris Hardy. Charlie Schankweiler made seven saves in goal

In the Bicentennial League:

Christian Academy 10, Valley Forge 0 >> Grant Sareyka kicked in four goals for the second straight game. Jesse Brittan recorded a hat trick and goalkeepers Evan Sareyka and Sam Geathers combined on the shutout.

Faith Christian 1, Delco Christian 0 >> Josiah Bronkema (seven saves) played well between the pipes for the Knights.
