Mercury Field Hockey Roundup: Collins scores twice in Spring-Ford’s win

Spring-Ford 4, Council Rock South 1 >> Alexa Collins found the back of the net twice for the Rams in the non-league win Tuesday.

Kate Crist and Kylie Martin also scored for the Rams, while goalkeeper  Ashley Della Guardia recorded eight saves. Lauren Mitchell was the lone goal scorer for Council Rock South.  

Oley Valley 4, Methacton 3 >> The Warriors dropped an overtime thriller to the Lynx on Tuesday.

Alexa Kratz netted two goals for Methacton, and Jayme Weber followed up to put the score at 3-3. Oley Valley’s Sophia Gladieux was the star of the game, scoring a hat trick and assisting on the other goal as well

Conrad Weiser 2, Daniel Boone 1 >> Brea Borrell scored the game-winning goal with 5:42 left in overtime Tuesday as the Scouts edged the Blazers in Berks League play. 

Ava Howels had the lone goal for Boone in the first half, Mackenzie Ring on the assist. Ashley Finkbiner gave the Blazers 11-save goal work.
