Haverford’s McVeigh is too much for Harriton to handle

Frankie McVeigh lit up the Skatium scoreboard Monday night with a hat trick and four assists, and Mitchell Estes totaled three goals and a pair of helpers to highlight Haverford High’s 10-6 triumph over Harriton in Central League hockey.
Shane Moran set up four scores and found the net once himself for the Fords (4-3), who provided plenty of offensive support for winning goalie Tim Osifchok (22 saves).
Oxford 2, Radnor 1 >> Brandon Curtis picked up his second goal of the season just under seven minutes into the second period, but it wasn’t enough to erase an early deficit as the winless Raiders fell in a nonconference game at IceLine.
Brad Burton and Andrew Cleek each picked up an assist for Radnor (0-3), which kept it close behind nine saves by Martin Connor.
