Malvern Prep water polo downs Lawrenceville

The Malvern Prep water polo team improved its record to 3-1 with a 9-1 win over Lawrenceville Prep (N.J.) Wednesday. Malvern played excellent team defense holding Lawrenceville to 11 shots and making 13 steals.  The Friars offense was led by Aaron Salinas (four goals), Isaac Salinas (three goals) and Steve Salle (two goals).  Goal keeper Rory Allen made nine saves in the win.
