Pansini debuts on scoreboard, leads Agnes Irwin

Freshman Maria Pansini netted her first varsity goal as Agnes Irwin blanked Hill School, 2-0.

Kristin Burnetta scored her seventh of the season for the Owls in the opening half. Pansini’s goal came in the second half when she finished with a deflection on a shot by Nicole Paradis.

Kendall Shein logged nine saves for her first shutout of the year.

In other nonleague action:

Strath Haven 5, Methacton 0: Lizzie King torched the visitors for four goals and one assist as the Panthers (9-1-2) won in blowout style. Katie Fisher (seven saves) logged the shutout and Maddie Forbes also scored for Haven.

In the Bicentennial League:

Delco Christian 3, New Hope-Solebury 3: Julia Kyne’s second goal put the Knights ahead in the 55th minute, but NHS was able to even things up in the 60th minute. Kailey Neef had two assists and Taylor Mingle also scored a goal for DCCS (6-4-2, 4-1-1).
