Lydia Bartosh was the hero in Agnes Irwin’s 2-1 double-overtime win over Penn Charter.

Bartosh converted a penalty kick in place of a dinged up Emily Fryer, who was brought down from behind in the box with 1:51 left in the second extra session.

The junior calmly buried the shot in the low right corner for the game-winning tally for the Owls (5-4-1 overall, 3-3 league).

Eighth grader Natale Pansini scored on a cross from Bartosh to put the Owls on the board early in the first half. Kendall Shein scooped up three saves as AIS outshot Penn Charter, 19-4.
