McNeely’s OT goal is the difference for Strath Haven

Danielle McNeely found the back of the net in the 95th minute, off a feed from Gianna Zweier to give Strath Haven a 1-0 nonleague triumph over Methacton. Claire Wolgast stopped five shots to post the shutout for the Panthers (7-1).

Christian Academy 3, Philadelphia Academy Charter 2 >> Keira Cryan led the Crusaders with one goal and one assist. Carlie Manniona and Eric Guy also scored, while goalie Jordie Harvey made eight saves.

Springfield 4, Bonner & Prendergast 0 >> The first of two goals from Amanda Biehl gave the Cougars a 1-0 halftime lead. Julia Schickling and Carly Walters also scored for Springfield, while goalie Shannon Cutcliff made three saves.

Merion Mercy 4, Notre Dame 0 >> The score is a little deceiving because the Irish hit two posts and the crossbar. 

Kelly Curran had 14 saves for the Pandas.

Shipley 1, Archbishop Carroll 0 >> Madison Henry led a strong defensive effort for the Patriots.

In the Inter-Ac League:

Penn Charter 3, Episcopal Academy 0 >> Goalie Allie Bush made six saves for the Churchwomen. Janae Stewart’s goal in the first half was enough to give the Quakers the win.
