Strath Haven’s King named Central League MVP

Lizzie King scored 13 goals to go with three assists this season in powering a stingy Strath Haven team to a Central League title. As the most dangerous marksman in the Central League, the junior forward was named the Central League MVP by league coaches.

King was joined on the first team by teammate Carly Classford. Nine of the league’s 12 team were represented among the first team selections. Earning two selections each were Radnor, with forward Maura Holst and defender Abby Lord, Penncrest (midfielders Gia Martyn and Corryn Gamber) and Harriton (goalkeeper Claire Coyle and forward Samantha Bigham).
