DLN ALL-AREA: Girls Lacrosse First Team, Second Team, Honorable Mention & Coach of the Year

FIRST TEAM
Attack
Alyssa Manley, Bishop Shanahan
Senior attack was voted Ches-Mont National League’s Most Valuable Player. A scoring machine for the Eagles, she tallied 77 goals this spring, finishing with a career total of 240. The St. Joseph’s University-bound senior also dished out 15 assists.

Corinne Bednarik, Downingtown West
Sophomore was first team All-Ches-Mont League attack. Had the highest number of assists (45) in the Ches-Mont League, and the second-highest total points in Ches-Mont (93).

Olivia Muscella, Great Valley
Senior closed out a stellar career that included three All-American selections and back-to-back Ches-Mont American League Most Valuable Player Awards as a sophomore and junior. Finished her Patriot career with 274 goals and 496 draw controls. Will play for University of Massachusetts-Amherst.

Annina Iacobucci, Villa Maria Academy
Senior attack was AACA league MVP, scoring 54 goals, dishing out 44 assists, and scooping up 27 ground balls. Was Hurricanes’ offensive MVP as well.

Tina St. Clair, West Chester Rustin
Junior attack, an Academic All-American and a first team All-Ches-Mont League selection, scored 38 goals and dished out 22 assists. Now has 137 career goals scored.

Midfield & Defense
Kenzie Staska, Bishop Shanahan
Senior midfielder was voted the Team Most Valuable Overall Player for the District 1 2A finalsts, scoring 57 goals, winning 45 draw controls, scooping up 39 ground balls and dishing out 15 assists.

Scottie Rose Growney, Conestoga
Senior midfielder and co-captain, a two-time All-American, an Under Armour All-American and a two-time first team All-Central League selection, scored 76 goals, dished out 28 assists, won 81 draw controls and caused 10 turnovers. Will play for University of North Carolina.

Livi Lawton, Downingtown East
Sophomore midfielder was a key performer for the PIAA 3A state semifinalists, scoring 53 goals, winning 73 draw controls, scooping up 49 ground balls and dishing out 11 assists.

Emily Wurzel, Downingtown East
Sophomore midfielder was a fine all-around player for the PIAA 3A state semifinalists, winning 101 draw controls, scoring 51 goals, scooping up 57 ground balls and dishing out 20 assists.

Peyton Mottice, Downingtown West
Sophomore was first team All-Ches-Mont League midfielder. Had second-highest number of goals (69) and draw controls (78) in the Ches-Mont League.

Natalie Kahn, Great Valley
Senior was All-American selection as well as first team All-Ches-Mont League midfielder, scoring 66 goals and dishing out 30 assists and winning 59 draw controls. Will play for Duke University.

Erin Garvey, Unionville
Junior, a two-time first team All-Ches-Mont League midfielder, tallied 69 goals, won 63 draw controls and caused 21 turnovers. A University of Michigan commit, she now has 171 career goals scored.

Audrey Fantazzia, Villa Maria Academy
Senior midfielder and co-captain was the Hurricanes’ Most Valuable Player, scoring a team-high 74 goals, winning 52 draw controls, dishing out 21 assists and scooping up 30 ground balls. Was AACA all-star.

Jordyn Bauer, West Chester Henderson
Junior midfielder, a first team All-Ches-Mont League selection for the second year in a row, displayed a wide range of talents, scoring 51 goals, dishing out 33 assists. winning 67 draw controls and causing 15 turnovers.

Ashley Chisholm, West Chester Rustin
Sophomore midfielder, a first team All-Ches-Mont selection, was a scoring machine for the Golden Knights, tallying 58 goals and dishing out 15 assists.

Elisabeth Ingersoll, Conestoga
Senior defender and co-captain, a US Lacrosse All-American, was a key player on defense for a Pioneers squad that won its first district title since 2006. A former Academic All-American, she is heading to the University of Pennsylvania.

Madison Doucette, Unionville
Junior, a two-time first team All-Ches-Mont League goalie, had a save percentage better than 50 percent, posted two shutouts and was US Lacrosse All-American and Academic All-American. Committed to Northwestern.
