Allen, Notre Dame keep Baldwin at bay

Caroline Allen impacted the game on several fronts, recording two goals, two assists, two draw controls and a caused turnover as Academy of Notre Dame defeated Baldwin, 9-5.

Makenzie Irvine and Julia Dambly both chipped in two goals and an assist. As her team’s last line of defense, keeper Jackie Lanzalotto made eight saves.

In the Central League:

Harriton 19, Upper Darby 0 >> The Royals couldn’t break the gooseegg on the scoreboard against the Rams, who got goals by 13 players. Allison Schwab and Jordan Heller each registered a hat trick, and goalie Devin McClain stopped the only shot she faced.

In nonleague action:

C.B. West 9, Strath Haven 7 >> The Panthers couldn’t keep pace with the visiting Bucks, who held a 6-2 halftime advantage. Nicole McNeeley powered the Panthers with four goals, and goalie Katie Capalbo finished with seven saves.
