Hill School 28, Peddie School 22 >> While the Blues’ offense didn’t get warmed up until the second half, the defense held strong throughout as they downed Peddie School in a Mid-Atlantic Prep League matchup.

After going scoreless in the first quarter, Hill trailed, 8-3, at halftime. The Blues didn’t take the lead until a bucket by sophomore Cynthia Williams, a three-pointer by sophomore Tess Gray and a finish from the inside by senior Alexa Giacche highlighted a 9-2 run that pushed the Blues to a 15-14 advantage to end the third quarter.

Vigo led the Hill with nine points; Williams, Gray and Olivia Matto added five points apiece and Giacche had four.
