Westtown School 64, Hill School 48 >> A late-game surge lifted the Moose over the Blues in a non-league game that saw the Hill mount its own surge in the second quarter.

Sparked by Olivia Matto’s strong first half (17 points), the Blues (2-1) led Westtown, 27-24, in the second quarter. But the Moose scored five straight points to nab the two-point lead at the half, and they carried that momentum into the third as they outscored the Blues, 14-4, to start the frame before Hill could regain its footing.

Matto scored a game-high 27 points, including a trio of treys. Cynthia Williams followed with nine points and had a strong game on the boards.
