DLN-AREA GIRLS BASKETBALL: Warley leads Shanahan to win over W.C. Henderson

The Bishop Shanahan girls’ basketball team defeated West Chester Henderson, 51-40, Thursday, led by 25 points from Courtney Warley.
Sammy McCarter hit four treys and Kathryn Greenhut chipped in with 10 points for the winners. Emma Bertrando led Henderson with 10 points.
The Eagles pulled even with the Warriors in the Ches-Mont National Division with the win.

Oxford 36, Great Valley 33 – The Hornets won in overtime, featuring a balanced scoring attack from Madeline Williams (nine points), Emily Shallow (seven), Hannah D’Aquanno (nine) and Miranda Porretta (eight). Williams and D’Aquanno combined to go 12-for-16 at the free throw line, and Porretta hit two treys. Sadie Buzan scored 17 points for Great Valley, including three treys.
