PERKIOMEN VALLEY 4, PHOENIVILLE 2 >> Kelly Gray scored two goals while Kelsey Giese and Gabby Martina had one apiece as the Vikings clipped the Phantoms.
Perkiomen Valley burst to a 3-0 halftime lead, but Phoenixville continued to play well, too, and came back in the second half to make it a tighter contest. Martina, Laura Shelton and Giese (two) had assists for the Vikings. Katie McErlean and Rose Moore scored for the Phantoms with assists by Liz Gyuris and McErlean.
Phoenixville goalie Caroline Costello had a huge game with 16 saves, including a number of critical stops. Perkiomen Valley’s Miranda Wesley had six saves for Perkiomen Valley while Keri Hanshaw had four.
