Mercury Field Hockey Roundup: Owen J. rolls Norristown

Owen J. Roberts 13, Norristown 0 >> Olivia Leclaire’s The two-goal outings of Olivia Leclaire, Bridget Gallagher and Keira Weiss headed a potent offensive for the Wildcats in their PAC Liberty Division roll over the Eagles.

Solo tallies by Sophia Muray, Emily Himmelreich, Kendall McNeff, Maddie Wisen, Payton Hansen, Rylee Laloup and Juliana Capece rounded out the Owen J. scoring. Kendall McNeff was credited with two assists, with others going to Gallagher, Julia Lamb, Jenna Kirby, Wisen, Raina Smolij and Makenna McCourt.

Upper Perkiomen 4, Pottsgrove 0 >> The Indians rode a balanced offense to victory over the Falcons in their PAC Frontier Division game.

Abriana Gatto led the way with two goals. Luci Carpenter had another goal and one assist, Jenna Fiorito completed the UP scoring and AiYi Young contributed an assist, helping the team to a 4-0 halftime lead.

Berks Catholic 6, Daniel Boone 1 >> Isabella Bressler had a goal and three assists to lead the Saints past the Blazers in Berks Conference play.

Mackenzie Ring scored, and Ashley Finkbiner had 24 saves for Boone.

Spring-Ford 5, Central Bucks West 1 >> Ashley Sessa figured in on three of the Rams’ goals as they handled the Bucks in non-league play.

Sessa scored twice and assisted on another by Alexa Collins. Mackenna Maloney had a goal and assist for Spring-Ford, which got another goal from Kate Crist.
