Tucker, Phantoms stay perfect with win over OJR

Kyle Tucker’s first-half goal proved to enough for the Phantoms in their PAC non-divisional win over the Wildcats.

Tucker scored in the final minute of the first half, moving Phoenixville to 5-0 overall for the year. Gavin Perillo was strong in net, posting six saves in the shutout victory. Wildcats’ goalie Ryan Walker had 10 saves in the loss, which dropped OJR to 1-4 overall on the season.

Boyertown 4, Pottsgrove 0 >> The Bears rallied for three goals during the second half en route to a PAC win over the Falcons.
Jimmy Towers finished with a goal and an assist while Drew Benning, Colin Brisbois and Nick Willson each registered solo tallies. Connor Reiss, Ben Margavitch and Ben Wise each had assists in front of Zach Kovatch’s seven-save showing for the shutout.

Perkiomen Valley 4, Pope John Paul II 0 >> Mike Weir’s hat trick led the Vikings to a PAC non-divisional win over the Panthers.

After leading 1-0 at the half, the Vikings’ (3-2 overall) offense exploded for three goals in the second, including Weir’s second and third of the contest. Matt McCabe also scored for Perk Valley. It was the first loss of the year for the Panthers who struggled to get any offense going allowing Andrew Daubenspeck to preserve the clean sheet for the shutout.

Spring-Ford 4, Upper Perkiomen 1 >> Brett Gulati scored two goals to lead the Rams to a PAC non-divisional win over the Indians.

Conor Lynch netted a goal, while Colin Trainor added a goal of his own and two assists for the Rams (5-1 overall). Colby Hetric had the only goal for Upper Perk (1-5) and Jackson Lill had six saves in the loss.
