Strath Haven rides Conner, Fink to upset win

Jeffrey Conner and Tyler Fink each tallied hat tricks, and Jack Borbee turned provider with four assists as Strath Haven beat western PA power Mount Lebanon, 9-5, in a nonleague game.

Will Brake made 15 saves for the Panthers, who used a 5-2 edge in the second quarter to pull ahead for good.

Gonzaga 14, Haverford School 8 >> Dox Aitken scored five times, but Haverford School couldn’t overcome a 7-1 halftime deficit at the Checking for Cancer Tournament Saturday.

Alex DeMarco made 10 saves for the Fords.

Harriton 14, Interboro 11 >> Jim Moorhead scored four times, and Chris Hummel and Kevin Oreskovich tallied twice each, but the Bucs couldn’t keep pace in the snow.
