Boys/Girls PIAA State Championships Results (Day One)

Boys Results >> Spring-Ford sophomore Ben Pochet finished the opening round tied for 17th place of 36 during the Boys-AAA PIAA Individual Championships at Heritage Hills Golf Resort in York, PA.
Pochet shot an 8-over 79, while Methacton juniors Kyle Vance shot a 10-over 81 and Dan Rieger carded a 12-over 83.
Zack Ford (Meadville), Patrick Kelly (Cathedral Prep) and Geoff Rice (Great Valley) finished the day tied at the top of the leaderboard after turning in 2-over 73’s on the round.

Girls Results >> Owen J. Roberts senior Maddie Sager shot a 5-over 77 to finish the opening round tied for third at the Girls-AAA PIAA Individual Championships at Heritage Hills Golf Resort in York, PA.
Sager carded a 38 on the front nine, followed by a 39 on the back. Peters Township’s Mia Kness currently holds first place as she shot a round-low 73. Radnor’s Brynne Walker shot a 74 while Marissa Balish (Hampton) and Lauren Freyvogel (Pine Richland) each tied with Sager at 5-over.
