Pope John Paul II 8, Pottsgrove 5 >> Rich McGarry helped himself as the pitcher went 5-2/3 innings on the mound and also finished 2-for-2 with four RBIs in the Golden Panthers’ win over the Falcons.

McGarry limited Pottsgrove to five runs (four earned) on five hits, three walks and seven strikeouts before Jimmy Roskos came on to finish it out for an unscathed four-out save. Amedeo Citro and Ryan Harvey each finished with a hit and two runs scored in the win. Alex Stump finished with a triple out of the 9-hole, but suffered the loss on the mound where he let up three runs on one hit and a pair of walks. Adam Girafalco scored two runs for Pottsgrove in the loss.
