Boyertown 2, Spring-Ford 1 >> In a duel for first place in the Pioneer Athletic Conference,  the Bears (5-1, 5-1) squeaked out a win over the Rams (4-2, 6-2).

Andrew Bauer went the first four innings for Boyertown, allowing one run on five hits while striking out six. Pat Hohlfeld finished the game allowing one hit over three innings with four strikeouts.

Both of the Bears runs came on Spring-Ford mistakes, Ryan Jacobs scoring on a passed ball and Jordan Shustack on an error. Conor Larkin struck out seven over five innings while allowing two hits in the losing effort.
