Steady pen, timely hitting leads Methacton past Norristown

Methacton 6, Norristown 1 >> The Warriors edged the Eagles in a Liberty Division showing behind a solid pitching effort from a quartet of Methacton players.

Jake Morello, Gavin Wolfe, Mason Seal and Griffin Zack combined to toss seven innings, allowing only three hits while striking out eight as the Warriors used a three-run first inning followed by a two-run fifth to seal the victory.

Seal got the win on the bump while Demetrio Rodriguez (two runs) and Josh Dubost posted two-hit games. Nick Wheeler finished 1-for-2 with two RBIs.
