Miller’s no-hitter leads Haverford School over GA

Cameron Miller tossed a no-hitter, striking out 12 and walking one in a gem as Haverford School downed Germantown Academy, 7-0, in an Inter-Ac game Tuesday.

David Hogarth and Justin Meyer provide three hits and two RBIs each, while James McConnon drove in three runs.

Also in the Inter-Ac League:

Springside Chestnut Hill 16, Episcopal Academy 2 >> Will Phillips and Alex Burman rapped out two hits each, and

Jack O’Reilly drove in both of EA’s runs.

In the Bicentennial League:

Delco Christian 19, Phil-Mont Christian 5 >> Kyle Winters went 3 for 4 with three RBIs and two runs scored, Tyler Rossini drove in two runs and scored twice and Josh Grieb collected his first two varsity hits as the Knights (9-5, 9-3) rolled.

In the Del Val League:

Interboro 2, Chichester 1 >> Brady DiGiacomo and Billy Ketler drove in runs to support five scoreless innings from Jon Pollilo and a six-out save by Ronnie Bailey as the Bucs (13-0, 11-0) stayed unbeaten.

Nick Jones tripled and scored the only run for Chi (7-7, 7-5), which got a complete-game effort from Ryan Janvier.

Chester 5, Glen Mills 4 >> Jesus Boneu struck out six over seven innings, and Shamour Young doubled and drove in a run for Chester.

Andrew Dvorak, Isaac Lemos and Hunter Soboloski drove in runs for Glen Mills.

Academy Park 12, Penn Wood 5 >> Sal Piccone drive in three runs with three hits, Zac Cleary added three hits and two RBIs and Steve Huff tossed three scoreless innings to pace AP (11-5, 10-3) to the victory.

In nonleague action:

Calvary Baptist 10, Christian Academy 5 >> Jake Sitkowski collected two hits and score two runs, and Curtis Hodge added two hits and an RBI for TCA (1-10).
