Rahdir Hicks

The 6-foot sophomore guard, a first team All-Inter-Ac selection this season, averaged 16 ppg, 5 apg and 4 rpg for the Friars. In the PAISAA tournament, he averaged 23 points, four assists and six rebounds per game as the Friars advanced to the quarterfinals. Malvern Prep basketball head coach John Harmatuk said, “Great guards make coaching easier, we have complete trust in Rahdir. He is a great guard. He is one of, if not the best, defensive guards I have coached. He has two more years at Malvern Prep and he will only get better.”

Q: What area of your game do you feel you improved the most this season? What part of your game are you working on the most currently?

A: The area of my game that I most improved this season is probably my outside shooting. I am still working on becoming a better shooter and trying to get stronger and more explosive.

Q: Who is your favorite basketball player, and why?

A: My favorite player this season has been Paul George because I like how he can score from all three levels and he’s a great defender.
