Germantown Academy wrestling rallies past Episcopal

A fast start was not enough for Episcopal Academy against Germantown Academy. The host Patriots won the last eight matches, five by fall and two by major decision, to erase a 12-point deficit and beat the Churchmen, 56-24, in the Inter-Ac League.

Jesse Bell-Taylor pinned Kiernan Devane in 56 seconds at 160 pounds. Fredercik Greene won by forfeit at 170 and Evan Zanolli pinned Brian Kelley at 182 to give the Churchmen an 18-0 advantage. Paul McLaughlin’s forfeit victory at 285 made it 24-12, but it was all GA after that.
