Mercury Boys Swimming Roundup: Upper Merion outpaces Spring-Ford

Upper Merion 94, Spring-Ford 76 >> Michael Lemishko and Aidan McNally each won pairs of individual races to lead the Vikings in their PAC meet with the Rams Thursday.

Lemishko headed the 200 IM (2:03.06) and the 100 fly (54.73), with McNally doing the same in the 50 free (22.24) and the 100 free (49.01). Luke McKenna had Spring-Ford’s lone first-place showing in the 500 free (5:02.83).

Boyertown 111, Upper Perkiomen 57 >> Oliver Tye was a two-event winner for the Bears as they outswam the Indians in their PAC meet.

Tye took the 100 free (49.77) and 100 back (57.51). UP’s winners were Kyle Kovalenko in the 200 free (1:52.83), Sean Lyman in the 100 fly (57.39) and Kevin Kovalenko in the 100 breast (1:05.14).

Methacton 96, Norristown 61 >> Steven Zeng and Tommy Groff each figured in on three of the Warriors’ race wins in their PAC meet with the Eagles.

Zeng won the 200 free in 2:06.52 while Groff took the 100 fly (59.32); they also swam legs of Methacton’s winning 200 free relay (1:39.04). Alex Waskiewicz was a two-race winner for Norristown, taking the 100 free (56.07) and 100 breast (1:10.15).

Perkiomen School 103, Barrack Hebrew 55 >> Tom Csisek and Kyle Silbert each won two individual events to head the Panthers’ sweep of first places in their meet with Barrack Hebrew.

Csisek won the 100 free and 200 IM, with Silbert topping the 100 fly and 100 breast. They also swam legs of Perkiomen’s 200 free relay.
