Mercury Boys Basketball Roundup: Methacton handles Boyertown

Methacton 68, Boyertown 40 >> Eric Timko edged by for game scoring honors while the Warriors rolled over the Bears in PAC Liberty Divisionn play Tuesday.

Timko had 22 points to head a trio of double-figure scorers for Methacton, David Duda got 12 of his 18 points off four long-distance shots while Jeff Jeff Woodward chipped in with 13. Alex Obarow was Boyertown’s leading scorer with 20 points.

Perkiomen Valley 48, Owen J. Roberts 39 >> Tyler Strechay joined with Kameron Parks and Zach Krause to outscore the entire Wildcat lineup to give the Vikings victory in this PAC Liberty Division matchup.

Strechay had 17 points, followed by 14 from Parks and 11 from Krause. Ryan Sayers had a game-high 18 for Owen J., but he was Roberts’ lone double-figure performer.

Pope John Paul II 88, Upper Perkiomen 58 >> The Golden Panthers had six players score in double figures to key their roll over the Indians in PAC Frontier Division action.

Tyshere Devaux-Malachi led the way with his 20-point outing, followed by Drew McKeon and A.J. Williams (13 apiece), Vince Tulli (11) and Chris White and Justin Green (10 each). Riley Decker gave UP a game-high 21 points whilie teammate Hunter Flack added 13.
