Friends’ Central runners make mark at 40th Foot Locker Regional

Several Friends’ Central School girls’ cross-country runners made their mark in the 40th Foot Locker Northeast Regional Nov. 24 at VanCortlandt Park in Bronx, N.Y.

Friends’ Central freshman Micah Trusty won the freshman/sophomore race in a time of 19:19.5. 

FCS junior Rebecca Wusinich finished in a time of 20:03 in the seeded girls race to finish 72nd overall (Trusty’s finish would have placed her 33rd in the seeded girls’ race) and sophomore Natalie Neuhaus ran 22:20.41 to finish 32nd for Class of 2021.
