Dirks’ clutch goal lifts Episcopal

Olivia Dirks put home a pass from Raina Kuzemka with 5:29 left in regulation to give Episcopal Academy a 3-2 Inter-Ac League win over Baldwin.

The Churchwomen scored three times in the second half, two by Maddie Loughead in a 6:25 span. Her second goal tied the game, 2-2, and set up Dirks’ winner.

In nonleague action:

Germantown Academy 2, Strath Haven 1 >> Lily Funk and Alizon Clark scored 30 minutes apart in the second half to edge the Panthers. Danielle McNeely gave Strath Haven a 1-0 lead with a goal in the second minute.
