Schuster leads Delco Christian to win in field hockey

Mikayla Schuster scored the first goal of the game and assisted on the final one as Delco Christian scored three times in the second half to take a 3-0 Bicentennial League victory over Bristol.

Schuster was credited with the assist on Brooke VanEerden’s goal. Hannah Lee scored the second goal with a helper from Abby Chung for the Knights (3-9, 2-9), who won their third match in five games.

In the Central League:

Garnet Valley 4, Strath Haven 1 >> Kendal DiCamillo scored two goals in the second half on her way to a hat trick, Kerry Bradley added one of her own and Rachel Snow had four saves for the Jaguars, who led 2-0 at halftime.

Ashley Hassell scored the lone goal for the Panthers (2-8-2, 2-6-1) and goalkeeper Breana Raysor made three saves.

Radnor 8, Lower Merion 1 >> Page Lowry netted a hat trick and Janie Hoysgaard had two goals and one assist for the Raiders, who outshot the Aces, 19-6.

Barbara Civitella added a goal and two assists while Genevieve Mehra and Olivia Shea had one goal and one assist apiece.

Harriton 2, Springfield 0 >> Lily Sillbergerd and Katelin Williams scored one goal each to propel the Ram.

Conestoga 15, Upper Darby 0 >> The Royals only had one shot on goal and allowed four different players to score two goals each. Goalkeeper Mariama Keita made 13 saves for Upper Darby.

In the Del Val:

Interboro 1, Academy Park 0 >> Dani Linker scored the decisive goal in the first half off an assist from Marissa Mullen and goalie Gab MacDonald assured a shutout in net for the Bucs (6-8, 3-2).

Taylor Zane made 15 saves in goal for the Knights.
