Mercury Girls Golf Roundup: Methacton outshoots Spring-Ford

Methacton 184, Spring-Ford 209 >> Recording four of the five lowest cards, the Warriors outshot the Rams in their PAC match at Skippack.

While Riley Thomas tied SF’s Cassidy Landis for low-score honors, Methacton followed with a 46 from Sarah Lawrie and 47s from Ashley Liu and Jackie McCue. Aleena Ghanta was the Rams’ next lowest score at 52.

Downingtown East 196, Boyertown 257 >> The Cougars turned in the day’s five lowest scores to roll up a PAC win over the Bears at Whitford C.C.

Ava O’Sullivan and Liddie McCook shot 48s for East to share low-score honors. Boyertown’s leader was Emily Burger at 59.

Unionville 180, Phoenixville 196 >> Charlotte Scully had the day’s lone sub-40 round in leading the Indians to victory over the Phantoms in a non-league match at Turtle Creek.

Scully carded a 39 for Unionville. Phoenixville’s leader was Morgan Morris at 45.
