Girls Swimming: Colizzo, Walsh power Penncrest to victory over Ridley

Julia Colizzo and Claire Walsh were both quadruple winners, including helping each other to two relay victories as Penncrest downed Ridley, 100-85 in a Central League girls swim meet.

Colizzo claimed the 200 individual medley, 100 backstroke, 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay, while Walsh was also on those victorious relays in addition to the 50 and 100 free.

Madison Dickert was a triple winner as she picked up victories in the 200 medley, 100 breaststroke and 400 free relay for the Lions.

For the Green Raiders, Shannon Glacken got the win in one meter diving with a score of 226.90.

Also in the Central League:

Haverford 92, Upper Darby 71 >> Paige Corcoran (200 free), Laura Seavey (200 IM) and Grace Myers (50 free) all picked up individual victories for the Fords.

Grace Purcell (200 and 400 free relay) was the Royals only double winner and teammate Cass Connelly took home the 100 breast.

Springfield 101, Marple Newtown 82 >> Laura Jones (50 and 100 free, 200 free relay) and Madeline Seifried (200 and 500 free, 200 free relay) were triple winners, while Alex Jones won the 100 fly and 200 medley relay for the Cougars.

Alex Tavani was the Tigers lone double winner in the 100 breast and 400 free relay.

In the Ches-Mont League:

Sun Valley 103, Bishop Shanahan 81 >> Quadruple winners for the Vanguards included Keeley Durkin (200 medley relay and free relay, 100 fly, 500 free) and Jenna Johnson (200 medley relay, free relay, 100 free and back) while Madison Mazon followed up as a triple winner by taking the 200 IM, medley relay and free relay.
