After quick turnaround, Ridley continues winning ways

It’s been quite a 24-hour span for Ridley.

Monday night, Ashley Shanks laced a two-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning to give the Green Raiders an 8-6 triumph over Upper Darby in their Central League finale.

Shanks came through with two more hits Tuesday as Ridley topped West Chester Rustin, 9-5. Julia Buckley, Gab DiNardo, Leigh Ann Jenkins and Abby McCoy added two hits apiece for Ridley.

Interboro 9, Springfield 0 >> Bridget Bailey tossed a five-hitter with 10 strikeouts. Barb Carosi, Brittney Pinkerton and Lilly Bonner drove in two runs each to pace the offense. Pinkerton finished with three hits, while Bonner had two safeties.

Bonner & Prendergast 6, Upper Darby 5 >> Meghan Sullivan went the distance and hit a walk-off two-run double. Molly McNulty also drove in two runs for the Pandas.

Marple Newtown 6, Chichester 5 >> Maggie Colsher paced a balanced attack for the Tigers with two RBIs. Hayley Coale doubled twice and drove in all five runs for the Eagles.  

In the Inter-Ac League:

Penn Charter 14, Episcopal Academy 4 >> Ariana Feliziani went 3-for-3 with a homer and two RBIs, while Reilly Wright also went deep while going 2-for-4.

In the Bicentennial League:

MaST Charter 15, Christian Academy 6 >> The Panthers smacked nine hits and took advantage of three errors to break the game open with 10 runs in the top of the seventh inning.

Lindsay Haseltine went 3-for-4 and drove in two runs. Grace Gormley had two hits and one RBI, and Courtney Bailey added two hits for the Crusaders (8-9, 7-9).

New Hope-Solebury 17, Delco Christian 12 >> Ronnie Falasco slugged two homers and a double in the regular-season finale for the Knights. Bekah Myers had a double and three RBIs, while Erin Mulholland collected three hits and two RBIs.
