Mother Nature has made a mess of Saturday’s championship schedule.
The Catholic and Inter-Ac Leagues moved their league championships to Monday because of the weather forecast.
The Catholic League championship will still be held at Cardinal O’Hara. The field events begin at 3:30 and the track events start at 3:45.
Meanwhile, the Inter-Ac championships will start Monday at Penn Charter with the field events at 10 a.m. and the running events at 1 p.m.
In the Del Val League girls qualifier held Thursday, Penn Wood’s Elicia Moore, Maisha Coleman and Kianna Elam, and Jillian Barrett of Interboro were double winners.
Moore was first in the 100- and 200-meter dashes. Coleman captured the 400 and long jump, while Elam won the shot put and Javelin. Barrett claimed gold in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs, and was third in the 800.
