The senior Perkiomen Valley starting pitcher became the program’s all-time leader for strikeouts in a season on Thursday afternoon, handcuffing Conestoga on the way to a 10-0 six-inning non-conference win.
Wild posted 12 strikeouts on the game, putting her at 176 K’s for the spring to pass Tori Marcavage, who held the previous mark with 171 strikeouts during the 2011 season. Wild allowed just one hit and a walk to Conestoga’s respective 1-2 hitters while running roughshod through the rest of the order.
Perk Valley rallied for five runs in both the fourth and sixth innings as the Vikings tallied 10 hits total on the game. Gillian Barrie finished 2-for-4 with a three-run inside-the-park home run while Sela Fusco (two RBI), Wild and Jordan Sell (run scored, RBI) each posted a triple. Haley Almes finished with a hit, an RBI and a run scored.
Garnet Valley 10, Pottsgrove 7 >> The Jaguars rallied for five runs in the third inning then added four more in the fifth en route to a non-conference win over the Falcons.
Kira Livezey knocked three triples as part of a four-hit game for Pottsgrove, which led 4-0 after two innings. Rachel Cherubini (two runs scored), Savannah Wilson (three runs scored, two RBI) and Shauna Maggio (two RBI) each posted two hits apiece. Becca Halford pitched the complete game for Garnet Valley.

Pope John Paul II 18, Gwynedd Mercy 4 >> The Golden Panthers rallied for nine runs in the top of the seventh inning during their non-conference win on Wednesday.
PJP rallied for 15 hits highlighted by Hope Robinson’s 2-for-5 showing with a home run and three RBI. Amanda Butera was 2-for-4 with a triple, two runs scored and three RBI while Ashley Remington scored four runs and knocked in two more on two hits. Remington and Alexandra Szpindor combined for the win in the circle.
