Track & Field: Glen Mills trio shines at Del Val qualifier

Ten contestants rattled off qualifying numbers Thursday at the Del Val Athletic Association boys Track and Field qualifier.

Semaj Robinson (50-5),  Amonte Bell (49-4) and Quidir Gibson (48-8) of Glen Mills finished 1-2-3 in the shot  put to meet the district standard of 48-0.

Braheem Bishop (Chester) and Dennis Maneah (Penn Wood) high-jumped 6-2 to meet the qualifying height. Bishop finished first in the head-to-head matchup.

In the 110 meter high hurdles, James Jackson of Chester ran 14.9, Rami Marsh of Glen Mills 15.2 to meet the qualifying standard of 15.54.

Keon Rantin of Glen Mills clocked 11.0 to qualify in the 100 meters.

And Tim Odujo (Penn Wood) and Mahki Little (Chester) both ran 40.5 to qualify in the 300 intermediate hurdles.
