Murtha’s career game powers Interboro

A fire extinguisher couldn’t have stopped Nate Murtha.

The Interboro standout was on fire, zipping home a career-best nine goals to lead Interboro to a 15-5 win over Oxford.

Gaige Lennon supplied two goals and a helper, while Brett McLaughlin and Mike Brown both tacked on a goal and an assist.

La Salle 9, Haverford School 8 >> TJ Malone scored a hat trick and set up two more goals and Sage Garito made 10 saves in relief, but the Fords couldn’t recover from an early 5-0 deficit.

Luke O’Grady ripped home two goals to go with an assist, while Peter Garno set up a pair and knocked one home himself.
