Penn Wood goes distance to beat Glen Mills

Christopher Jones and the doubles teams of Daniel Dumas and John Fayiah and Joseph Tholley and Steven Siv bounced back from first-set losses to lift Penn Wood to a 5-0 Del Val League victory over Glen Mills.
John Kpankpa (second singles) was the only Penn Wood player to win in straight sets. Victor Alao (first singles), Jones and the two doubles teams all needed three sets to claim victory.

In nonleague action:

Upper Darby 6, Roman Catholic 0 >> Ani Tupia needed a tiebreaker to win his second set at third singles and give the Royals a straight sets sweep of the singles. William Lu and Hama Azam did not drop a game at third doubles.
Radnor 7, Henderson 0 >> Max Safanov did not lose a game at first singles and Chris Rinehart and Luigi Giacomucci did the same at third doubles to lead the Raiders.
In the Central League
Lower Merion 7, Ridley 0 >> The Aces won five of the seven matches, including all four in doubles, without dropping a game.
