Penncrest’s field standout cleaned up in all jump-related things, besting the field in the long jump, triple jump and high jump as the Lions rolled to a pair of easy wins by beating Harriton, 141-7, and Springfield, 123-26. The Cougars secured a 63-43 win over the Rams.
Wildermuth jumped 20 feet, 10½ inches in the long jump, while adding a 42-foot, three-inch effort in the triple jump and clearing five feet, six inches in the high jump.
Garrett Meo won the 300 hurdles (45.5 seconds) and 100 hurdles (17.6 seconds) for the Lions. Phil Shovlin ripped off a 22.2 in the 200 to grab the win. Owen Galligan was tops in the discus (136 feet, nine inches).
