Truman softball nips Bensalem in slugfest

BENSALEM >> The Truman Tigers picked up a nice softball win on Tuesday, April 11 with a 13-hit attack featuring a 3-for-4 and two RBIs by Chrissie Huhn. Vanessa Tanzini, Stephanie Wolf and Sarah Soltis each had three hits for Truman (2-3) and Aliyah Olivera doubled and knocked in three runs. Rising star Tori Yorgey was 3-for-3 with a triple for Bensalem.

Neshaminy 9, William Tennent 4

LANGHORNE >> Trailing by the score of 4-0 entering the bottom of the fifth, Neshaminy (5-1) remained undefeated in the SONL with a nine-run explosion. Victoria Smith cleaned the bases with a three-run triple and then Hunter Hart smashed a two-run home run.

Conwell-Egan 3, Archbishop Carroll 2

FAIRLESS HILLS >> Emily Wang singled home the game winner in the bottom of the eighth for Conwell-Egan’s second win of the year. Devyn Savage and Alyssa Fagans (2-for-3) both doubled in support of pitcher Alyssa Adams, who scattered eight hits and struck out five.
