Springfield-Delco hands Spring-Ford its first loss

Springfield-Delco 13, Spring-Ford 5 >> Jarrod Marenger’s hat trick was the highlight for the Rams in their non-league loss to the Raiders.

Danny Cassidy (two assists) and Tate Pijanowski rounded out the Spring-Ford scoring, with Peyton Gensler and Ryan Rosenblum getting credit for assists. Kyle Pettine added an eight-save day in goal.

Hill School 10, Peddie 4 >> The Blues opened their Mid-Atlantic Prep League schedule in solid fashion, building a big early lead on Peddie School.

Jason Bram scored a hat trick to lead the Hill (3-3), which built an 8-1 lead in the first half. Joe Pickard and Chase Taylor each had two goals, with Kevin Cummings, Ryan Schmidt and Wes Shaw scoring one apiece.

Pope John Paul II 7, Devon Prep 5 >> Behind two-goal games from Justin Kent (one assist), Ryan Kormos and Matt Cressman, the Golden Panthers raced out to a victory in a non-league showing Friday night.

Jake Bildstein had a goal in the win for PJP, which got an eight-save performance from Noah Balliet in net.


Boyertown 12, Interboro 4 >> Christian Hellriegel netted a hat trick during the Bears’ non-conference win against Interboro.

Mason Turner, Jason Clinton and Brady McFalls scored two goals apiece while Chris Moccia and Skylar Wallace each had a goal and an assist in the win. Mark Frederickson came up with nine saves in goal.

Ridley 9, Perkiomen Valley 7 >> The Vikings’ five-goal fourth period wasn’t enough during a non-conference loss against the Raiders.

Shawn Coulter netted a hat trick while Brian Fehr finished with a goal and an assist as PV recovered from a 8-2 deficit entering after three quarters. Max Nice and Richie Marshall each tallied goals while Connor Willey and Matt Dudley each posted assists. Kevin Mo made seven saves in goal.
