Guadarrama’s walk-off lifts Perkiomen School past Lawrenceville

Josh Cruz pitched a complete-game and Nick Guadarrama posted the game-winning walk-off hit in the bottom of the seventh inning during the Perkiomen School baseball team’s 3-2 non-league win over Lawrenceville.

Perk scored two runs in the fifth inning before Lawrenceville evened it back up at 2-2 in the top of the sixth inning. Guadarrama singled in the winning run with two outs and the bases loaded. Chris Pow finished 2-for-4 with a run scored in the win.

Daniel Boone 6, Conrad Weiser 1 >> Devon Garner and Ryan Okuniewski swung the big bats for the Blazers in their Berks Conference victory over the Scouts.

Both players went 2-for-3 with doubles, Garner adding a triple and RBI while Okuniewski drove in two runs. Three Boone pitchers combined on a three-hitter with nine strikeouts.

Wilson 3, Boyertown 2 >> Done in by the Bulldogs’ three-run second inning, the Bears dropped a non-conference matchup.

Wilson’s Jaden Himmelreich picked up the win on the mound, limiting Boyertown to two runs (one earned) on six hits and a walk. Jake DiCesare finished with a hit and a run scored while Tyler Kreitz had an RBI. Drew Hartman pitched the first four innings for the Bears and was tagged for three runs (two earned) on three hits.

Owen J. Roberts 7, Oley Valley 3 >> Josh Fulmer and Bobby Walker each drove in pairs of runs to lead the Wildcats in their non-league victory over the Lynx.

Fulmer and Walker had two hits apiece behind teammmate Andrew Fisher’s three knocks. Dariel Velez, the second of five OJR pitchers seeing action, was credited with the win off three innings of two-hit, five strikeout relief.
