Perk Valley overcomes penalties to down Methacton; Boyertown, Spring-Ford roll

FAIRVIEW VILLAGE >> Perkiomen Valley received a three-goal effort from both Matt Dudley and Shawn Coulter en route to a 10-3 Liberty Division victory over Methacton on Tuesday night.

Despite being called for 11 penalties to Methacton’s three, the Vikings defense, led by Nick Marren, Remy Sell, Sam Bonavita, Connor Donovan, Ryan Candelori, Kyle Beaudoin, Rasheed May and Drew Rowley, limited the Warriors to just one man-up goal.

Brian Fehr added two goals and an assist for the Vikings, which also got goals from Richie Marshall and Marren. David Neilsen added three assists with Connor Willey adding two helpers. Kevin Mo made 10 saves in net.

Methacton received a two-goal effort from Ryan O’Toole, who assisted on Kyle Kacala’s goal.

Boyertown 19, Norristown 0 >> Mason Turner hit the nets for a game-high five goals in leading the Bears’ PAC romp over the Eagles Tuesday.

Brady McFalls (three assists) and Jason Clinton each chipped in with two goals. Boyertown got other scoring from Nick Moccia (one assist), Skylar P. Wallace, Kyle Kooker, Mike Federico, Carter Watts, A.J. Robinson, Ethan Himes and Brewer Johnson (one assist).

Spring-Ford 16, Upper Merion 1 >> Jarrod Marrenger and Nate Vatillana each scored four times as the Rams cruised past the Vikings in league play.

Marrenger and Vatillana’s performances were supplemented by a hat trick from Ryan Rosenblum and two-goal showings from Kyle Reed and Danny Cassidy. The Rams, which built a 8-1 lead at the half and finished their scoring in the third quarter, outshot the Vikings 29-9 and held a 40-7 edge in groundballs.

Gov. Mifflin 16, Daniel Boone 3 >> Kyle Golden, Ethan Darrenkamp and Anthony Stevenson did the scoring for the Blazers in their Berks Conference game with the Mustangs.

Greg Hensley gave Boone 12-save goaltending.

Perkiomen School 6, Church Farm School 2 >> Miles Longstreth’s hat trick keyed the Panthers in their non-league victory over Church Farm School.

Harrison Gavin chipped in with two goals for Perkiomen while Liam Brassington added one. Ben Williams made stops on 10 of 16 shots he faced in goal.
