Conestoga’s torrid second half sees off Springfield

Springfield put a scare into defending state champion Conestoga, racing out to a three-goal lead at halftime, but Liz Scott’s two-goal, two-assist, 11-draw control day helped the Pioneers to a 14-10 come-from-behind win.

Olivia Little paired a hat trick with an assist and Maggie O’Connell dished out two assists to go with a pair of goals for the Cougars (1-1, 0-1 Central League).

In the Del Val:

Interboro 17, Penn Wood 0 >> Morgan Reed and Molly Dowling led the Bucs with six points apiece and Paige Dorwart added a hat trick as Interboro cruised. Ashley Cadet stopped 16 shots for the Patriots (0-1).

In nonleague action:

Collegium Charter 12, Academy Park 11 >> Shayna Flory tallied six goals to pace the Knights. Angeliqua Ortiz pitched in with three goals.
