Pierce scores twice, but Radnor falls

Radnor came up short of Spring-Ford Friday despite three goals by Drew Brown and two by Connor Pierce.

Jackson Birtwhistle added one goal and one assist, Clayton Proctor two assists. Chris Austen won 9 of 12 face-offs for the Raiders.

In other nonleague boys lacrosse games:

Unionville 8, Penncrest 7 >> Max Daugherty registered five goals, Zach Granger and Matt Dougherty one each for Penncrest, which never led. Goalie Cody Hershock had four saves.

Haverford 17, Cardinal O’Hara 1 >> John Sheivert and Luke McCallion contributed three goals and one assist apiece to power Haverford. Nick Dilorio added three goals, Jack Daly two goals and three assists for the Fords, who led, 15-1, at the half.

Interboro 17, Norristown 1 >> Mike Porreca scored five times, and Nate Murtha added three goals and three assists for the Bucs.

Strath Haven 13, Penn charter 8 >> All-Delco Jeffrey Conner picked up where he left off with six goals and a helper as the Panthers pulled away late.

Jack Borbee posted a hat trick, and Will Huestis dished four assists to go with two goals for the Panthers.
