Spring-Ford 7, Radnor 6 >> Danny Cassidy’s five-goal showing was enough to lift the Rams to a non-league victory.
Cassidy’s five goals were complemented by goals from RJ Ward and Ryan Rosenblum (one assist) as Spring-Ford scored the lone goal in the fourth to break the tie and come away with the win.
Jared Marenger finished with an assist while Kyle Pettine finished with seven saves. Drew Brown led Radnor with three goals.
Perkiomen Valley 10, Berks Catholic 2 >> The Vikings surged out to a 7-0 halftime lead and then put it on cruise control en route to an eight-goal victory. Senior Shawn Coulter (two goals, five assists) had a stellar start scoring the team’s first and his 100th career goals two minutes into the first quarter. Freshman Matt Brock had a great debut going 63 percent at the faceoff. Senior Kevin Mo posted 14 saves in goal for the Vikings.
