Right place, right time.
Katie Armstrong knocked down the game-winning bucket with less than 10 seconds remaining as the Boyertown girls basketball team beat Council Rock North in the 5-8 playback round of the District One Class AAA playoffs on Wednesday night.
Armstrong scored it off an inbound feed from Kylie Webb shortly after CR North evened it up at 38-all with less than a minute remaining.
Abby Kapp led the charge with a team-high 14 points while Alli Marcus finished 11-for-14 from the free throw line for all of her points to help push Boyertown to a 23-19 lead by the half.
The Indians tied it up after three quarters, using a 10-6 advantage in the third.
With the win, No. 2 seed Boyertown will face top-seeded North Penn for fifth place at 6 p.m. on Friday night.
Becca Margolis scored 14 points while Dana Bandurick followed with 13 for Council Rock North, who faces Garnet Valley in the seventh place game on Friday night.
