Girls’ squash: Baldwin School captures MASA championship

Baldwin School’s varsity squash team captured its fifth MASA (Middle Atlantic Squash Association) tournament championship in the past six years Feb. 4, defeating Penn Charter 8-1, Lawrenceville 7-2 and Episcopal Academy 7-2 for the title.  The team included head coach Richard Glanfield, assistant coach Bruce Kelly, Saachi Singh, Meghna Sreedhar, Maansi Mudgil, Angela Yang, Grace Steelman, Sara Syed, co-captain Pallavi Sreedhar, co-captain Sumi Mudgil and Alexis Shatzman.

Next up for Baldwin is the High School Nationals tournament in Hartford, Conn. next weekend, where Baldwin will be the No. 2 seed.
