Balanced Phoenixville girls prove to be difference in win over Upper Perk

Phoenixville 55, Upper Perkiomen 20 >> Kaitlyn Mundy had game scoring honors for the Indians, but the Phantoms’ offensive balance proved the difference in this PAC Frontier Division matchup.

Mundy collected her 14 points from the second quarter on, while Liberty Allain (11 points) and Dakota Graham (10) keyed a Phoenixville lineup that outscored its hosts by a 50-17 margin in that span.

Pope John Paul II comes up big against Pottstown

Wilson 65, Daniel Boone 41 >> The Blazers dropped a Berks Conference I matchup with the Bulldogs.

Zakiyah Winfield scored a game-high 17 points for Wilson while Courtney Westman and Jennifer Wallace followed with eight points apiece. Madison Spitko paced the Blazers with 14 points.

Perkiomen School 30, Kimberton 17 >> Nikki Ciocari scored 13 points to head the Panthers’ Tri-County League win over Kimberton.

Perkiomen’s offense was bolstered by a nine-point effort from Helana Tang.
