Holy Ghost Prep track finishes first in Marine Corps Classic DMR

NEW YORK >> Four members of the Holy Ghost Prep (HGP) track team captured the top prize in the distance medley relay (DMR) in the Marine Corps Classic Dec. 29 at the Armory Track & Field Center in New York City.

HGP seniors Callahan Lennon – who finished the final 1600-meter leg of the event in 4:34, Kevin Dineen and Sam Huslin teamed up with sophomore John Gasiewski to win the event in 10:47.28.

Gasiewski turned in a blazing 53.3 in the 400-meter sprint leg of the DMR. Dineen got the race started, completing 1200 meters in 3:16 and Huslin registered 2:02 in the 800-meter portion of the race.
